The “Gospel Hall brethren” are a group of independent Christian assemblies throughout the world that fellowship with each other through a set of shared Biblical doctrines and practices. Theologically, we are evangelical and dispensational. Gospel Halls follow the “pattern” of New Testament church doctrine and practice found in the Bible. As such we recognize no central ecclesiastical authority, no formal creed, no prescribed liturgy nor any ordained, salaried ministry. Each assembly is an autonomous, locally-functioning body of baptized believers, recognizing the final authority of the Bible and being led by a plurality of elders.

Our Beliefs:

The Bible
We believe that the Scriptures, Old and New Testament, as the inspired Word of God, which are entirely trustworthy, and without error in the original documents. They are the complete revelation of God’s will for salvation of people and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

The Trinity
We believe in one God, Almighty, Creator of all things, holy and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is gracious, merciful, compassionate, steadfast in love and also the righteous Judge of all.

Jesus Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, true God and true Man, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary in His incarnation. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.  His sacrifice was substitutional and representative.  He was buried and rose bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven, was exalted by the Father and now ministers as our High Priest and Advocate.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is provided through the death and resurrection of Christ and is the only ground for a sinner’s justification and acceptance by God. All who receive the Lord Jesus by faith are redeemed by His blood and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. They become children of God and have eternal life.  The Holy Spirit indwells the believer, who is sealed until the day of redemption and is empowered to live a Godly life.
